How much whining did the coaches have to do to let there be three POYs? I think having three totally takes away from the honor of being selected POY. Whats the point of being the PLAYER of the year, if there are two more besides you? I'd tell the coaches to take their award and stick it where the sun don't shine!

I really think it should of been a 2 way tie rather than 3 way. Kent Goodman did not deserve it. I actually think there were better basketball players on his team that is if Rick Goodman would of let them be. Tyler Ball and Jake Colley deserved it. Kent Goodman's time will come but it isn't right now.

Tyler Ball should have gotten the award to himself. He carried Honaker all year and is the senior of the three. You can't say that Kent didn't deserve it and Jacob did though. They had roughly the same season with the same level of teammates. Oh yeah, only one of those three made it out of the district.

I just think he's better overall than Jacob or Kent. He's older, more experienced and has a good all around game. Co and three way MVP's are just a way to please everyone. No balls in the voting. That is why you have 10-12 people on the all BDD teams now rather than how it used to be with a five man first team and a five man second team. Too many politics going on with vote trading so now they just group it all and make everyone worth a crap all BDD.

All I'm saying is that over the years these awards have been cheapened and it continues. I don't have any personal feelings toward any players on the team or left off, just a respect of basketball.

i believe by going to a 12 man first team HAS watered down the pretige of the the ALL-District it pretty much is just anyone who was any good is All-District

i think that a 5 man 1st and 2nd team is needed in order for All-District to mean something
